Anderson Foundries announced the acquisition of Muncie Castings LLC, an aluminum foundry based in Muncie, Indiana.  By joining forces with its existing iron foundry, Dakota Foundry, Webster, South Dakota, the company is focused on delivering complete, vertically integrated manufacturing solutions. 

The expanded foundry capabilities will enable the company to serve clients across a wider range of industries, from agriculture and construction to industrial design and custom manufacturing, with both iron and aluminum casting expertise.

Beyond manufacturing, the acquisition also opens new doors for Iron Warrior Academy, Anderson’s nonprofit 501(c)(3) division dedicated to training the next generation of skilled tradesmen. The company plans to expand Iron Warrior Academy’s programming and impact into Indiana, creating new opportunities for hands-on education in welding, fabrication, foundry operations, and engineering.
In October, Dakota Foundry was named a U.S. Chamber of Commerce “CO–100 Top 100 Small Business in America.”
