Wisconsin Aluminum Foundry acquires Anderson Global

AFS Corporate Member Wisconsin Aluminum Foundry (WAF), a manufacturer of aluminum and copper-based alloy castings, has acquired Anderson Global, an aluminum foundry tooling manufacturer based in Muskegon, Michigan.
“We are thrilled to welcome Anderson Global to the WAF family,” said WAF CEO Sachin Shivaram. “John and Betsy McIntyre have built a world-class business that stands as the gold standard for tooling in our industry. This acquisition not only strengthens our internal capabilities, but also ensures Anderson Global will continue to support foundries across North America as an independent and trusted partner. We look forward to investing in the people, technology, and equipment that will enable Anderson Global to thrive for decades to come.”

Founded more than 40 years ago by the McIntyres, Anderson Global has over 50 journeymen machinists, a deep bench of world-class engineering talent, and advanced machining assets to produce complex and high-precision tooling.
Anderson Global will continue to operate as a standalone subsidiary within WAF’s portfolio, and all 80 team members will continue their employment under WAF’s ownership.

“Anderson Global has an amazing team delivering excellence across the organization,” Shivaram said. “Our goal is to grow by continuing to deliver the highest quality tooling in the industry and by supporting the broader resurgence of American manufacturing.”
