AFS Corporate Member Allied Mineral Products LLC (Allied) has purchased AFS Corporate Member Industrial Ceramic Products, Inc. (ICP). The acquisition will allow Allied to increase applications diversity, capacity, and expansion into precision, high-fired refractory shapes markets. 

The acquisition includes all ICP’s product lines, equipment, facilities, grounds, and employee base. Allied says the deal creates opportunities to offer the ICP product lines to a broader customer base in the U.S. as well as globally. ICP recently celebrated its 80th year of manufacturing. The company will continue making products under the ICP name. 

Headquartered in Columbus, Ohio, Allied now has 15 manufacturing facilities in 10 countries, eight precast shapes facilities, and three research and technology centers.
