Pennsylvania Precision Cast Parts Inc., Lebanon, Pa., announced it has made internal changes the company believes were necessary to address lagging performance indicators.
According to a press release issued by the company, Pennsylvania Precision made adjustments that included more closely examining its leading performance indicators last November, when it began seeing a significant drop in order levels. The company has allocated the time necessary to examine those indicators and set goals for their improvement.
“We have achieved so much since the economic fall and have seen great improvement, especially over the past six months,” said Andrew Miller, the company’s president and chief executive officer. “I am excited to see booking percentages, efficiency measures and on-time delivery percentages continue to grow. It is awesome to be exceeding goals and expectations.”
The company said that during May 2010, it surpassed its goal of 95% on-time delivery by just greater than 2%.
Pennsylvania Precision is an investment casting company with more than 150 employees and annual casting sales in excess of $13 million.
