Capital Refractories, Derbyshire, England, announced the acquisition of Wax Injection Ceramics and Ancillaries Ltd., a provider of ceramic cores for the investment casting industry, and renamed the company Capital Injection Ceramics Ltd. (CIC).

According to a Capital press release, the investment has enabled the recruitment of engineers, development of facilities and addition of equipment, including a new coordinate measuring machine. The company’s staff has joined with the CIC team to provide its usual services.

As part of the Capital group, CIC will continue to provide its customers ceramic core products.
