Vulcan Engineering Co., Helena, Ala., was selected as one of the recipients of the 2007 Governor's Trade Excellence Award.

The award was presented to Bruce McMellon, president, and Bryan Baker, vice president, by Governor Bob Riley during the awards ceremony at the State Capitol in Montgomery on Thursday, March 22, 2007.

Vulcan was selected for their example of what Alabama businesses can achieve in the export marketplace.

“Through Vulcan's diligence in capturing worldwide markets, our company has continued to create jobs for our community and Alabama,” Baker said.
