Bruce Dienst, president and COO of Simpson Technologies, Aurora, Ill., recently announced the company will cease operations in Mexico.

According to Dienst, Simpson has shut down Simpson Technologies de Mexico, Saltillo, Mexico, and appointed Roberts Sinto de Mexico S. de R.L. de C.V., Monterrey, Mexico, as its sales agent for the Mexican market. As part of the transition, the former general manager of Simpson Technologies de Mexico has assumed the same role at Roberts Sinto de Mexico. 

“I am highly confident that Roberts Sinto de Mexico will represent Simpson Technologies well in the important Mexican market,” Dienst said.

Simpson designs and manufactures technology and services for the worldwide metalcasting and chemical process industries.
