Consolidated Casting Adds Burnout, Finishing Equipment Print E-mail

Released on January 18, 2010

Consolidated Casting Corp. (CCC), Hutchins, Texas, recently invested in a new burnout oven and a new machine room lathe.

The manufacturer of investment cast components said in a press release it purchased and installed the burnout/preheat furnace to improve the quality of its molds and ultimately its castings. The company expects the 40-ft. furnace to increase its capacity by more than 50% and provide cost savings through improved fuel efficiency and productivity.

CCC added the new lathe with milling and y-axis capabilities to complement its existing machine shop, which now includes 35 CNC machines and other conventional machine tools.

CCC produces castings and assemblies for commercial and industrial applications and for the industrial gas turbine industry.
