Winona Pattern & Mold Wins Ford Award |

Winona Pattern & Mold (WPM), Winona, Minn., recently received an award from Ford Motor Co.’s Casting Operations for improvements to the tooling on one of its engine cylinder blocks.
WPM vice president of sales David Groth said the award was presented for WPM’s role in upgrading the 6.2L “Boss” cylinder block. According to the award presented to the company, “the Winona team incorporated 130 product and process changes into the tool builds between series VP2 and MLP. The Winona team also satisfied the compressed timing requirements, while maintaining a high level of quality.”
The award was recently presented to Jeff Springer, Perrin Rondeau, Mike Trimborn and Roger Glodowski of WPM by Terry Aldea and Brain Nellenbach of Ford.
