The management at U.S. Aluminum Castings, Entiat, Wash., announced the company has received a 2008 Letter of Recognition from PACCAR, Bellevue, Wash., for its performance at or below 50 PPM quality.

According to the company’s announcement, other PACCAR suppliers that have received the recognition are Alcoa, Eaton, Parker Hannifin, Robert Bosch and SKF. PACCAR is a multinational technology company that manufactures commercial vehicles sold under the Kenworth, Peterbilt and DAF nameplates.

US Aluminum Castings produces a diverse range of finished aluminum castings for PACCAR, from shims to bunk steps. The metalcaster casts, heat treats, machines, powder coats and certifies parts and provides kitting services for the customer.

US Aluminum Castings is a member of the Advanced Metals Group, which produces aluminum and iron castings out of five domestic metalcasting facilities.
