Thermal processing equipment supplier Inductotherm Group, Rancocas, N.J., announced its subsidiary Inductotherm Europe Ltd. has won the Queen’s Award for Enterprise in the International Trade category.
“The Queen’s Awards for Enterprise recognize and reward the outstanding achievements of British companies and individuals in promoting enterprise,” said British Prime Minister Gordon Brown. “I am delighted that, in a year that has seen our global economy faced with some very serious challenges, so many U.K. businesses have demonstrated their resilience and success.”
Inductotherm Europe makes equipment in Droitwich for the U.K. market, as well as for export throughout Europe, with a particularly strong presence in Germany and Spain. According to an Inductotherm press release, the award was a result of the company’s commitment to visiting customers and accompanying them on visits to reference sites throughout Europe.
“I am immensely proud that this award has been conferred on the company,” said Graham Hawkins, chairman. “It is recognition of the excellence of our products, our reputation for service and the hard work of all our employees. I am pleased to be associated with a good news story for a Droitwich engineering company.”
