As of Aug. 1, Viking Technologies will become the sole distributor of Koins’ pourTECH Automatic Pouring Systems and Hercules Crushers in the U.S., Canada and South America.

According to the terms of the deal, Viking will also take over the support and spare parts sales for existing Koins automatic pouring systems and the line of crushers. Customers with open purchase orders with Koins as of July 31 will have those orders fulfilled by Koins as usual.

According to a letter issued to Koins customers, the company is not filing for bankruptcy protection, and it will continue to honor existing warranties.
