Metalcasting tooling supplier Anderson Global, Muskegon, Mich., and Quimmco Centro Technologico, Saltillo, Coahuila, Mexico, recently have joined forces to form a technical and commercial alliance.

According to a press release issued by Anderson Global, the goal of the partnership is to explore ways to jointly lower costs and increase capacities.

Quimmco, a metalcasting and forging mold and fixture manufacturer, will provide Anderson Global with tooling adjustments and warrantee work for Mexican customers, manufacturing of components for Anderson Global projects, and partnering on larger projects to manufacture components and assemble tools.

Anderson Global will provide Quimmco with low cost components from its plant in Asia, lower cost materials and supplies through volume purchasing, engineering support for larger projects, and technological training.
