Omaha Steel Castings Co., Omaha, Neb., was purchased on Aug. 7 by the company’s general manager.

Phil Teggart has been general manager of the company for the past four and a half years. He purchased the privately-held company for an undisclosed amount.

Omaha Steel employs 225 and reports annual sales of approximately $25 million. The business manufactures steel castings primarily for the construction, mining, oil, and gas and transportation markets. It has counted Caterpillar as one of its primary customers for more than 50 years.
