HighTemp Furnaces Ltd., Bangalore, India, recently purchased a license to proprietary austempering technology by Applied Process Inc., Livonia, Mich.

HighTemp Furnaces Commercial Heat Treatment Division operates plants in Bangalore, Pune, Gurgaon and Chennai, India, providing a range of services to the region. The license will allow the Applied Process/HighTemp team to bring austempering heat treatment services to the Indian manufacturing sector. 

“This collaboration will bring efficient, technology-based Austempering services to our customers, offering them high-performance, cost-effective material/process alternatives,” SAID Gopal Mahadevan, HighTemp’s Managing Director.
