Roberts Sinto Corp., Lansing, Mich., has acquired the assets of the Matchblomatic automatic molding machine line from Simpson Technologies, Aurora, Ill.

In addition to the new machine offering, Sinto will provide parts and service to the current owners of the equipment. As part of the transaction, Simpson has provided Sinto with their inventory of spare parts, drawings, manuals and other technical data and the service histories of the installed machines. The company’s stated goal is to achieve a “nearly seamless transfer of responsibility.”

The purchase became effective at the beginning of April.
