Metalcaster and award manufacturer R.S. Owens, Chicago, received a Gold Web Award at the annual PPAI Suppliers Achievement Awards sponsored by Promotional Products Association International (PPAI).

PPAI Awards Committee members judged all contest entries according to criteria specific to five categories. R.S. Owens, the manufacturer of the Oscar, among other trophies, was presented the award in the marketing/branding category for the work it has done on its website.

“Award winners are recognized for such attributes as the quality of the images, search capabilities, visual design and overall functionality with this award,” said Steve Slagle, CAE, PPAI president and CEO. “The winners worked very hard to earn this special recognition and their commitment to excellence is a tribute to this industry.”

The company also was presented with Silver Awards in the categories of customized non-catalog product and most creative promotional product developed as a result of a supplier and distributor partnership.
