Resource planning software provider Synchro32, Barmouth, Gwynedd, U.K., recently announced the opening of a new office based in Austin, Texas.
According to a spokesperson for the company, the new offices were opened in response to increased business in the U.S. and Canada.
“Two years ago, CEO/MD Chris Collins altered our policy on how we sell Synchro32,” spokesperson Barbara Nolan said in an email. “He removed all up front entry costs on the simple basis that demand for [metalcasters] to use integrated information systems is no longer a luxury but a necessity in order for them to remain competitive.”
Removing the entry costs allows smaller casting manufacturers to install and run these systems, Nolan said.
Synchro32 sells software packages exclusively to metalcasters, with the majority of its customer base being in the U.K., U.S. and Canada.
