Industrial Noise Companies Sign Distribution Agreement Print E-mail

December 28, 2007

The Larson Davis division of PCB Piezotronics, Depew, N.Y., has announced a distribution agreement for the products and services of Bertrand-Johnson Acoustics, Montreal, Quebec, Canada.

The two companies develop instrumentation to measure noise exposure in an industrial environment, with a goal of reducing employee hearing loss.

Products developed by Bertrand-Johnson to be sold under the Larson Davis product umbrella include software for audiometric trend analysis and hearing conversation program qualifications, which provide safety and health managers with predictive analysis tools and recordkeeping for selection of hearing protection devices to meet various regulatory standards.

“The combination of management information software tools from BJA with day-to-day exposure assessment tools from Larson Davis results in a comprehensive way to ensure that worker’s compensation costs are contained,” said Alain DeLandsheer, Larson Davis director of sales and marketing.
