Ownership Changes at Applied Precision Print E-mail

Applied Precision Inc., Mississauga, Ontario, Canada, announced a change in ownership and management and said it is planning additional hires in the near future.

Robert Bell, one of the founders of the private optical 3-D digitizing firm, has become president of the company, and industry veteran Scott Reiner has stepped in as a co-owner. Reiner will also become vice president of sales and marketing.

Along with the ownership and management change, the company announced plans to hire additional engineers and sales staff. In a press release, Applied Precision said it will commit more resources to future growth in the U.S. and Mexico.

“We see strong growth ahead,” Bell said. “We have the right team in place to expand our 3-D measurement technology offerings, grow in new markets and continue to service our clients; existing needs.”

Applied Precision is a provider of 3-D digitizing systems and services for new product development, quality inspection and CAD updating solutions to manufacturing industries.
