ABP Induction Opens New Ohio Facility Print E-mail

Furnace manufacturer ABP Induction, Dortmund, Germany, recently opened a new 22,000-sq.-ft. facility in Massillon, Ohio.

ABP, a producer of induction heating and melting furnace systems, will dedicate the facility and its staff to manufacturing ABP equipment and remanufacturing all types of induction equipment to original specifications.

ABP furnaces are used in assisting the metalcasting and forge markets. ABP also offers metalcasters consulting, planning, start-up and training services. In addition to the U.S. and Germany, the company has operations in Sweden, Thailand, Mexico, Brazil and India.

“Massillon’s Midwest location, state-of-the-art facility and technology enables ABP to deliver the highest level of remanufacturing quality, general repair and equipment maintenance to our customers, as well as maintain our top-quality manufacturing capability,” said David Decker, general manager.
