KB Alloys Creates Custom Alloy Unit for Nonferrous Metalcasters Print E-mail
Released on Friday, January 26, 2007

KB Alloys Inc., Reading, Pa., announced it has developed a business unit to focus on custom metalcasting alloys.

The new unit boasts the ability to deliver custom metalcasting alloys in small, 17-lb. ingot form with lot sizes as small as 500 lbs.

"Our strong position in raw materials and our ability to produce small lots allow KB Alloys a unique combination of customized alloy availability and fast turnaround for non-ferrous foundries," says Tim Donnelly, director of sales and marketing. "Metalcasters don't have to spend the enormous resources involved in sourcing raw material additives for non-standard alloys and can focus instead on offering rapid response of non-standard castings."
