Senator Technology GmbH, Buchholz, Germany has acquired 100% of the shares of Disa Serf SAS, Lorient, France.

The new company will operate under the name of Serf SAS, a Senator Technology Company and and will continue to develop, manufacture and service finishing equipment for the aluminium and gray iron metalcasting markets.

With combined sales exceeding $31 million in 2006, Senator Technology expects to strengthen its ability to offer aluminium gravity die castings and processing of aluminium and gray iron parts.

"We believe that this action is consistent with the market trend in our industry to increase our...manufacturing efficiencies and capacities on global platforms," company officials said in a press release.
