Ferrous Facility Quality Castings Adds to Core Capacity |

The Quality Castings Co., Orville, Ohio, has ordered a new core machine in response to increased customer demand.
The company will add the new coldbox core capacity to its existing coldbox and shell core production. The machine, provided by LaempeReich Corp., Trussville, Ala., is expected to enhance the core production of two other Laempe machines that have been in operation at the company for more than 16 years.
Quality Castings pours gray and ductile iron on three automated cope and drag casting lines. The job shop serves approximately a dozen different end-use industries.
