Osco Industries Inc., Portsmouth, Ohio, has recently been awarded the President’s “Company Award” by the Ohio Cast Metals Association (OCMA), Columbus, Ohio.

The award is given to a metalcasting facility whose representatives have made significant contributions and demonstrated leadership through OCMA for the association’s members and the metalcasting industry as a whole.

John Burke, Osco’s president, is treasurer of OCMA, and Ryan Burke, accountant and environmental coordinator at Osco, is OCMA’s vice president for environmental affairs.

Osco is a medium to high volume gray iron sand casting company with three plant locations. The company specializes in castings less than 50 lbs. and serves the air conditioning, refrigeration, power transmission and sump pump markets, among others.
