US Aluminum Castings, Entiat, Wash., has received the 2010 Letter of Recognition from PACCAR Inc., Bellevue, Wash., according to an announcement issued by the metalcasting company’s management.

US Aluminum Castings, which supplies a range of cast, machined and powder coated parts to PACCAR, a global manufacturer of heavy duty trucks, received the award for its performance below 50 PPM. According to the company’s announcement, other PACCAR suppliers that have received the recognition include Alcoa, Eaton, SKF and Parker Hannifin.

US Aluminum Castings is a member of the Advanced Metals Group, which produces aluminum and iron castings out of four domestic metalcasting facilities. PACCAR is a multinational manufacturer of commercial trucks marketed under the Kenworth, Peterbilt and DAF nameplates.
